Soft EVA core — a gentle feel at impact that helps you place the ball instead of overhitting it.

Round head, centred sweet spot — mishits still go back over the net, which keeps first games fun.

Ready-to-play set — 2 rackets, 2 balls and a carry bag: everything two players need for a first session.

For kids and adults — light enough for a junior, with a wrist strap for safety.

The problem

You want to try padel without spending a lot on gear you may not keep using.

How it helps your game

The Rookie is built for your first matches. The round head puts the sweet spot in the centre, and the soft EVA core makes the ball come off the face gently, so control comes before power.

Take the set for two — 2 rackets, 2 balls and a carry bag — or a single racket if a friend already has one. Four designs make it easy to tell whose racket is whose, and the wrist strap keeps it on your arm.

Perfect for…

You are new to padel and want a forgiving first racket.

You want to play with your child, partner or a friend right away.

You are buying a first racket for a junior player.

You want a spare racket for guests at the club.

01

Two players, one bag, ready for the court

The set holds 2 rackets, 2 balls and a carry bag: book a court, grab the bag and you both have what you need for a first session.

Prefer one racket only? Each design is also sold on its own, so a second player can join later.

02

Light enough for a junior

The Rookie is listed for kids as well as adults: at 47cm long it suits a young player learning the basics.

The wrist strap keeps the racket attached during big swings, and the short handle is easy for small hands to hold.

03

Forgiving when you are still learning

The round head places the sweet spot in the centre of the face, so off-centre hits still clear the net more often than not.

With the soft EVA core, the ball leaves the face gently: you work on placement and rhythm before chasing power.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the set?

The set contains 2 rackets in the same design, 2 balls and 1 carry bag. The single option is 1 racket on its own.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, it is listed for kids and adults. It is 47cm long with a wrist strap; younger children should play with an adult nearby.

Is this racket good for improving players?

It is designed for beginners: soft core, round head and a forgiving centre. Once you hit harder and want more power, an intermediate carbon racket will suit you better.

How do I choose the design?

There are four designs: red, orange, yellow and white. Each one is available as a set of 2 or as a single racket.

How long will delivery take?

Every order is dispatched within 24 hours on working days. Standard Royal Mail delivery is free and takes 7–9 working days, with tracking. Need it sooner? Choose Priority delivery (5–7 working days) for £2.90 at checkout.

What if it's not right for me?

You have 30 days after delivery to return it unused and in its original packaging. A racket must not have been played on court (no marks, protective film and labels still on). Email help@padelviro.com with your order number and we'll guide you through the return. Faulty items are always covered.
