The problem

You want to try padel with your partner or your children, but buying two rackets separately soon adds up.

How it helps your game

The Duo set puts two players on court in one go. You get two rackets, two balls and a carry bag, so you can book a court and start playing the day it arrives.

Each racket pairs a carbon fibre surface with an EVA memory foam core, a soft combination that forgives off-centre hits. They are light and well-balanced, with a non-slip grip and a safety wrist strap, which makes them easy to handle for beginners, improving players and children from age 6.

Perfect for…

You want to discover padel as a couple, with a friend or with the family.

You are looking for a gift for someone who keeps talking about padel.

You want spare rackets for guests and holiday games.

You prefer a light racket that does not tire your arm.

Everything for two players, in one bag

01

Everything for two players, in one bag

The set contains 2 rackets, 2 balls and a carry bag. Pack it, book a court and you are both ready to play, with nothing else to buy.

The bag keeps both rackets and the balls together, so nothing goes missing between the car, the club and home.

Light rackets that forgive mis-hits

02

Light rackets that forgive mis-hits

Each racket combines a carbon fibre surface with an EVA memory foam core. The foam softens the impact, so balls struck off-centre still travel back over the net.

Being light and well-balanced, they are quick to bring up for a volley and easy to swing for players who are new to the game.

A set the whole family can play with

03

A set the whole family can play with

The supplier marks the set as suitable from age 6, so parents and children can share a court and learn together.

The ergonomic handle has a non-slip texture and each racket has a safety wrist strap: slip it on before you play and the racket stays with you, even in an excited rally.

Racket guide

Choose the right padel racket

Four things decide how a padel racket feels: the material of the face, the shape of the head, the density of the foam core and the surface finish. Here is what each one changes on court.

This racket

  • Soft EVA core

Surface material

The face is a thin layer of fibreglass or carbon laid over the foam core. The "K" is the number of carbon filaments per thread, in thousands: the higher it is, the wider the weave and, in general, the stiffer and more direct the face.

  • Close-up of a Fibreglass racket face

    Fibreglass

Flexible and forgiving. The ball leaves the face easily with little effort, which suits beginners and relaxed games.

  • Close-up of a 3K carbon racket face

    3K carbon

The finest carbon weave. Light and responsive, with a good balance between feel and stiffness.

  • Close-up of a 12K carbon racket face

    12K carbon

A wider weave and a firmer face. More direct response, a little less give on soft shots.

  • Close-up of a 18K carbon racket face

    18K carbon

Stiffer still. A firm, precise feel for players who already generate their own pace.

  • Close-up of a 24K carbon racket face

    24K carbon

The widest weave and the stiffest face of the range. Very precise, and the least forgiving when you miss the centre.

Racket shape

The shape decides where the sweet spot sits and how the weight is balanced. The lower the sweet spot, the easier the racket is to control; the higher it is, the more power you get on smashes.

  • Plain black padel racket with a Round head, front view

    Round

Large sweet spot low in the head and a balance close to the hand. Easy to handle and forgiving: the classic choice for control.

    Control
  • Plain black padel racket with a Teardrop head, front view

    Teardrop

Sweet spot in the middle of the head and a medium balance. The all-rounder, for players who defend and attack.

    Control
  • Plain black padel racket with a Diamond head, front view

    Diamond

Sweet spot high in the head and a head-heavy balance. Built for power on smashes; it asks for good technique.

Whatever the shape, a padel racket measures up to 45.5 cm long and 26 cm wide, with a profile of 30 to 38 mm.

EVA core density

Inside every padel racket is a block of EVA foam. A softer, lower-density foam absorbs more of the impact and gives the ball an easy exit; a harder, denser foam returns more energy when you hit hard.

  • This racketCross-section of a racket with a Soft EVA foam core

    Soft Density 10–13

The most comfortable feel and an easy ball exit at slow and medium pace. Maximum comfort and control.

  • Cross-section of a racket with a Medium EVA foam core

    Medium Density 15–17

A balanced foam: comfortable enough for long rallies, firm enough to finish the point.

    Power
  • Cross-section of a racket with a Hard EVA foam core

    Hard Density 19–22

A dense, firm foam that rewards fast, full swings with maximum power. Less comfortable on slow balls.

Surface finish

The top coat changes how the face looks, how it ages and how much it grips the ball.

  • Close-up of a Glossy racket surface

    Glossy

A smooth, shiny clear coat that makes colours stand out and wipes clean easily.

  • Close-up of a Matte racket surface

    Matte

A satin, non-reflective coat with a premium look. It shows fewer fingerprints and small marks.

  • Close-up of a Sandy (textured) racket surface

    Sandy (textured)

A gritty, rough coat that grips the ball a little more on brushed shots, to help you add spin.

Which one is for me?

A starting point by level. Your own feel on court always comes first.

Not sure? A round or teardrop racket with a soft or medium core suits most club players.

Frequently asked questions

Are the rackets the same size as adult rackets?
They are standard padel rackets, light and well-balanced, used by adults and suitable from age 6 according to the supplier. Very young children may find a dedicated junior racket shorter and easier to hold.
What exactly is in the box?
Two rackets, two balls and one carry bag. Each racket has its own wrist strap.
Are they good enough for regular club games?
They are made for beginners and improving players: soft, light and forgiving. If you already play several times a week and want more power, look at our intermediate range.
How should I care for them?
Wipe them with a dry cloth after playing, keep them in the bag and avoid leaving them in a hot car. Avoid hitting the frame against the walls and floor, which marks the edge.
How long will delivery take?
Every order is dispatched within 24 hours on working days. Standard Royal Mail delivery is free and takes 7–9 working days, with tracking. Need it sooner? Choose Priority delivery (5–7 working days) for £2.90 at checkout.
What if it's not right for me?
You have 30 days after delivery to return it unused and in its original packaging. A racket must not have been played on court (no marks, protective film and labels still on). Email help@padelviro.com with your order number and we'll guide you through the return. Faulty items are always covered.
