The problem

Your beginner racket feels vague now that you play every week and try to place the ball.

How it helps your game

The Flow is the step up from your first racket. Its 12K carbon faces are denser and crisper than fibreglass, so you feel exactly where the ball meets the face and can place your volleys and lobs with more intent.

Behind the carbon, an elastic EVA memory foam core takes the edge off the impact and sends the ball back smoothly. It suits intermediate players who play regularly and want precision that stays comfortable over a long match.

Perfect for…

You play every week and your first racket now feels limiting.

You want to place the ball rather than just hit it hard.

You like a firm but comfortable feel on contact.

You want a carbon racket without the price of an advanced model.

12K carbon for shots that go where you aim

01

12K carbon for shots that go where you aim

The faces are made of 12K carbon fibre, a denser weave than the fibreglass used on most first rackets. Contact feels clean and direct, so you know straight away whether you hit the ball well.

That feedback is what helps an improving player tighten their volleys and place their lobs deeper.

A memory foam core that keeps the feel comfortable

02

A memory foam core that keeps the feel comfortable

Inside, an elastic EVA memory foam core sits between the carbon faces. It absorbs part of the shock at impact and returns the ball in a smooth, predictable way.

The result is a racket that stays crisp without feeling harsh, even when you play several matches in a row.

Plain carbon, nothing to distract you

Plain carbon, nothing to distract you

The Flow is finished in glossy black carbon with an emerald green accent along the frame. There are no slogans or large prints on the face, just the weave and the perforations.

The short handle and wrist strap keep it secure in your hand, rally after rally.

Racket guide

Choose the right padel racket

Four things decide how a padel racket feels: the material of the face, the shape of the head, the density of the foam core and the surface finish. Here is what each one changes on court.

This racket

  • 12K carbon
  • Soft EVA core

Surface material

The face is a thin layer of fibreglass or carbon laid over the foam core. The "K" is the number of carbon filaments per thread, in thousands: the higher it is, the wider the weave and, in general, the stiffer and more direct the face.

  • Close-up of a Fibreglass racket face

    Fibreglass

Flexible and forgiving. The ball leaves the face easily with little effort, which suits beginners and relaxed games.

  • Close-up of a 3K carbon racket face

    3K carbon

The finest carbon weave. Light and responsive, with a good balance between feel and stiffness.

  • This racketClose-up of a 12K carbon racket face

    12K carbon

A wider weave and a firmer face. More direct response, a little less give on soft shots.

  • Close-up of a 18K carbon racket face

    18K carbon

Stiffer still. A firm, precise feel for players who already generate their own pace.

  • Close-up of a 24K carbon racket face

    24K carbon

The widest weave and the stiffest face of the range. Very precise, and the least forgiving when you miss the centre.

Racket shape

The shape decides where the sweet spot sits and how the weight is balanced. The lower the sweet spot, the easier the racket is to control; the higher it is, the more power you get on smashes.

  • Plain black padel racket with a Round head, front view

    Round

Large sweet spot low in the head and a balance close to the hand. Easy to handle and forgiving: the classic choice for control.

    Power
    Control
  • Plain black padel racket with a Teardrop head, front view

    Teardrop

Sweet spot in the middle of the head and a medium balance. The all-rounder, for players who defend and attack.

    Power
    Control
  • Plain black padel racket with a Diamond head, front view

    Diamond

Sweet spot high in the head and a head-heavy balance. Built for power on smashes; it asks for good technique.

Whatever the shape, a padel racket measures up to 45.5 cm long and 26 cm wide, with a profile of 30 to 38 mm.

EVA core density

Inside every padel racket is a block of EVA foam. A softer, lower-density foam absorbs more of the impact and gives the ball an easy exit; a harder, denser foam returns more energy when you hit hard.

  • This racketCross-section of a racket with a Soft EVA foam core

    Soft Density 10–13

The most comfortable feel and an easy ball exit at slow and medium pace. Maximum comfort and control.

  • Cross-section of a racket with a Medium EVA foam core

    Medium Density 15–17

A balanced foam: comfortable enough for long rallies, firm enough to finish the point.

  • Cross-section of a racket with a Hard EVA foam core

    Hard Density 19–22

A dense, firm foam that rewards fast, full swings with maximum power. Less comfortable on slow balls.

Surface finish

The top coat changes how the face looks, how it ages and how much it grips the ball.

  • Close-up of a Glossy racket surface

    Glossy

A smooth, shiny clear coat that makes colours stand out and wipes clean easily.

  • Close-up of a Matte racket surface

    Matte

A satin, non-reflective coat with a premium look. It shows fewer fingerprints and small marks.

  • Close-up of a Sandy (textured) racket surface

    Sandy (textured)

A gritty, rough coat that grips the ball a little more on brushed shots, to help you add spin.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for a beginner?
It is designed for intermediate players who already play regularly. A motivated beginner can use it, but a round racket from our beginner range will be more forgiving while you learn the basic strokes.
What is EVA memory foam?
It is the foam core between the two carbon faces. Memory foam is elastic: it absorbs part of the impact and returns the ball smoothly, which gives a comfortable feel. If you have elbow pain, consult a professional before choosing a racket.
How heavy is it, and what shape is it?
The supplier does not state the weight or the head shape, so we do not quote them. Look at the photos for the outline of the head.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the face with a dry cloth after playing, store it in a cover and keep it away from extreme heat or cold. Avoid scraping the frame on the floor and walls.
How long will delivery take?
Every order is dispatched within 24 hours on working days. Standard Royal Mail delivery is free and takes 7–9 working days, with tracking. Need it sooner? Choose Priority delivery (5–7 working days) for £2.90 at checkout.
What if it's not right for me?
You have 30 days after delivery to return it unused and in its original packaging. A racket must not have been played on court (no marks, protective film and labels still on). Email help@padelviro.com with your order number and we'll guide you through the return. Faulty items are always covered.
