NewIn stock — dispatched within 24 hours
£74.99

Diamond-shaped head — the balance sits towards the top, so the racket carries more momentum into overheads and firm volleys.

3K carbon faces — a stiff, responsive surface that returns energy to the ball instead of soaking it up.

EVA foam core — gives the face its bounce and keeps the response consistent from one shot to the next.

Plain, clean design — matte black carbon and a red frame, with no busy graphics on the face.

The problem

Your smashes land in the opponents' half instead of finishing the point, however hard you swing.

How it helps your game

The Strike is built for the attacking side of the game. Its diamond-shaped head moves the balance towards the top, so more of the racket's mass goes into the ball when you hit an overhead or a flat volley. The 3K carbon faces are stiff and quick to return the ball.

Inside, an EVA foam core gives the face its bounce. It suits intermediate players with a settled technique who now want to win points at the net rather than just keep the rally going.

Perfect for…

You already play regularly and your technique is consistent.

You like to take the net and finish the point with a smash.

You want more power than your current round racket gives you.

You prefer a clean, understated design on the face.

A diamond head that drives the smash

01

A diamond head that drives the smash

On a diamond-shaped racket, the widest part of the head sits high up and the balance moves towards the top. Each overhead carries more momentum, which is what turns a decent smash into a winner.

The trade-off is a smaller sweet spot than a round racket: it rewards players who already hit the centre of the face consistently.

3K carbon faces over an EVA core

02

3K carbon faces over an EVA core

Both faces are made of 3K carbon fibre, a woven carbon that is stiff and responsive. The ball comes off the face quickly, without the dead feel of fibreglass.

Between the faces, an EVA foam core provides the bounce and keeps the response even across the hitting area, rally after rally.

A clean look, from the court to the bench

A clean look, from the court to the bench

The Strike is finished in matte black carbon with a red frame: no slogans, no oversized graphics, just the weave and the perforations.

The frame edge, the short handle and the wrist strap complete a racket that looks as focused as it plays, whether it is in your hand or resting between games.

Racket guide

Choose the right padel racket

Four things decide how a padel racket feels: the material of the face, the shape of the head, the density of the foam core and the surface finish. Here is what each one changes on court.

This racket

  • 3K carbon
  • Diamond

Surface material

The face is a thin layer of fibreglass or carbon laid over the foam core. The "K" is the number of carbon filaments per thread, in thousands: the higher it is, the wider the weave and, in general, the stiffer and more direct the face.

  • Close-up of a Fibreglass racket face

    Fibreglass

Flexible and forgiving. The ball leaves the face easily with little effort, which suits beginners and relaxed games.

  • This racketClose-up of a 3K carbon racket face

    3K carbon

The finest carbon weave. Light and responsive, with a good balance between feel and stiffness.

  • Close-up of a 12K carbon racket face

    12K carbon

A wider weave and a firmer face. More direct response, a little less give on soft shots.

  • Close-up of a 18K carbon racket face

    18K carbon

Stiffer still. A firm, precise feel for players who already generate their own pace.

  • Close-up of a 24K carbon racket face

    24K carbon

The widest weave and the stiffest face of the range. Very precise, and the least forgiving when you miss the centre.

Racket shape

The shape decides where the sweet spot sits and how the weight is balanced. The lower the sweet spot, the easier the racket is to control; the higher it is, the more power you get on smashes.

  • Plain black padel racket with a Round head, front view

    Round

Large sweet spot low in the head and a balance close to the hand. Easy to handle and forgiving: the classic choice for control.

  • Plain black padel racket with a Teardrop head, front view

    Teardrop

Sweet spot in the middle of the head and a medium balance. The all-rounder, for players who defend and attack.

  • This racketPlain black padel racket with a Diamond head, front view

    Diamond

Sweet spot high in the head and a head-heavy balance. Built for power on smashes; it asks for good technique.

Whatever the shape, a padel racket measures up to 45.5 cm long and 26 cm wide, with a profile of 30 to 38 mm.

EVA core density

Inside every padel racket is a block of EVA foam. A softer, lower-density foam absorbs more of the impact and gives the ball an easy exit; a harder, denser foam returns more energy when you hit hard.

  • Cross-section of a racket with a Soft EVA foam core

    Soft Density 10–13

The most comfortable feel and an easy ball exit at slow and medium pace. Maximum comfort and control.

    Comfort
    Power
  • Cross-section of a racket with a Medium EVA foam core

    Medium Density 15–17

A balanced foam: comfortable enough for long rallies, firm enough to finish the point.

    Power
  • Cross-section of a racket with a Hard EVA foam core

    Hard Density 19–22

A dense, firm foam that rewards fast, full swings with maximum power. Less comfortable on slow balls.

Surface finish

The top coat changes how the face looks, how it ages and how much it grips the ball.

  • Close-up of a Glossy racket surface

    Glossy

A smooth, shiny clear coat that makes colours stand out and wipes clean easily.

  • Close-up of a Matte racket surface

    Matte

A satin, non-reflective coat with a premium look. It shows fewer fingerprints and small marks.

  • Close-up of a Sandy (textured) racket surface

    Sandy (textured)

A gritty, rough coat that grips the ball a little more on brushed shots, to help you add spin.

Frequently asked questions

Is a diamond racket right for me?
A diamond shape suits players who already have a consistent technique and want more power. If you are just starting or often hit off-centre, a round racket will be more forgiving.
What does 3K carbon mean?
It refers to the carbon fibre fabric used on the faces: woven bundles of carbon filaments. It gives a stiff, responsive surface that returns more energy to the ball than fibreglass.
How heavy is it?
The supplier does not state the weight, so we do not quote one. Diamond rackets carry their balance towards the head, so they feel more head-heavy than round models. If you have elbow pain, consult a professional before choosing a racket.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the face with a dry cloth after playing, store it in a cover and keep it out of extreme heat or cold. Avoid scraping the frame on the floor and walls, which wears the edge.
How long will delivery take?
Every order is dispatched within 24 hours on working days. Standard Royal Mail delivery is free and takes 7–9 working days, with tracking. Need it sooner? Choose Priority delivery (5–7 working days) for £2.90 at checkout.
What if it's not right for me?
You have 30 days after delivery to return it unused and in its original packaging. A racket must not have been played on court (no marks, protective film and labels still on). Email help@padelviro.com with your order number and we'll guide you through the return. Faulty items are always covered.
