The problem

Your entry racket now feels soft and vague, and you want a stiffer face that rewards cleaner technique.

How it helps your game

The Summit steps up to a 24K carbon fibre face. Carbon is the material players move to once they want a firmer, more direct response from the ball: what you put into the stroke comes back more clearly.

The supplier sells it as a lightweight model, so it stays quick in the hand at the net. The face is solid and perforated, with no strings, and the short handle ends in a wrist strap. The finish is plain black carbon with a thin red edge line.

Perfect for…

You play regularly and your technique is settled.

You want a firmer, more direct carbon face than an entry racket.

You like a light racket that moves fast at the net.

You prefer a plain, understated look on court.

A firmer face for players who have found their swing

01

A firmer face for players who have found their swing

A 24K carbon fibre face is stiffer than the fibreglass found on entry rackets. It gives a more direct response, so clean contact is rewarded and you feel exactly where the ball met the face.

That firmness suits advanced players. If you are still learning the basic strokes, a softer beginner racket will be more forgiving.

Light enough for fast exchanges at the net

02

Light enough for fast exchanges at the net

The Summit is sold by the supplier as a lightweight racket. A lighter frame is easier to bring up for reflex volleys and to reposition between shots when the rally speeds up.

The short handle and wrist strap keep it secure in the hand, so you can focus on the ball rather than your grip.

Plain carbon, no logos, no noise

03

Plain carbon, no logos, no noise

No printed brand, no slogans: the face shows only the black carbon weave and its drilled holes, with a thin red line running around the frame.

It looks just as tidy on the court as it does on the bench between matches, and it suits any kit you already wear.

Racket guide

Choose the right padel racket

Four things decide how a padel racket feels: the material of the face, the shape of the head, the density of the foam core and the surface finish. Here is what each one changes on court.

This racket

  • 24K carbon

Surface material

The face is a thin layer of fibreglass or carbon laid over the foam core. The "K" is the number of carbon filaments per thread, in thousands: the higher it is, the wider the weave and, in general, the stiffer and more direct the face.

  • Close-up of a Fibreglass racket face

    Fibreglass

Flexible and forgiving. The ball leaves the face easily with little effort, which suits beginners and relaxed games.

  • Close-up of a 3K carbon racket face

    3K carbon

The finest carbon weave. Light and responsive, with a good balance between feel and stiffness.

  • Close-up of a 12K carbon racket face

    12K carbon

A wider weave and a firmer face. More direct response, a little less give on soft shots.

  • Close-up of a 18K carbon racket face

    18K carbon

Stiffer still. A firm, precise feel for players who already generate their own pace.

  • This racketClose-up of a 24K carbon racket face

    24K carbon

The widest weave and the stiffest face of the range. Very precise, and the least forgiving when you miss the centre.

Racket shape

The shape decides where the sweet spot sits and how the weight is balanced. The lower the sweet spot, the easier the racket is to control; the higher it is, the more power you get on smashes.

  • Plain black padel racket with a Round head, front view

    Round

Large sweet spot low in the head and a balance close to the hand. Easy to handle and forgiving: the classic choice for control.

  • Plain black padel racket with a Teardrop head, front view

    Teardrop

Sweet spot in the middle of the head and a medium balance. The all-rounder, for players who defend and attack.

    Control
  • Plain black padel racket with a Diamond head, front view

    Diamond

Sweet spot high in the head and a head-heavy balance. Built for power on smashes; it asks for good technique.

Whatever the shape, a padel racket measures up to 45.5 cm long and 26 cm wide, with a profile of 30 to 38 mm.

EVA core density

Inside every padel racket is a block of EVA foam. A softer, lower-density foam absorbs more of the impact and gives the ball an easy exit; a harder, denser foam returns more energy when you hit hard.

  • Cross-section of a racket with a Soft EVA foam core

    Soft Density 10–13

The most comfortable feel and an easy ball exit at slow and medium pace. Maximum comfort and control.

  • Cross-section of a racket with a Medium EVA foam core

    Medium Density 15–17

A balanced foam: comfortable enough for long rallies, firm enough to finish the point.

    Power
  • Cross-section of a racket with a Hard EVA foam core

    Hard Density 19–22

A dense, firm foam that rewards fast, full swings with maximum power. Less comfortable on slow balls.

Surface finish

The top coat changes how the face looks, how it ages and how much it grips the ball.

  • Close-up of a Glossy racket surface

    Glossy

A smooth, shiny clear coat that makes colours stand out and wipes clean easily.

  • Close-up of a Matte racket surface

    Matte

A satin, non-reflective coat with a premium look. It shows fewer fingerprints and small marks.

  • Close-up of a Sandy (textured) racket surface

    Sandy (textured)

A gritty, rough coat that grips the ball a little more on brushed shots, to help you add spin.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Summit suitable for beginners?
It is designed for advanced players. A 24K carbon face is firm and direct, which rewards clean technique but forgives less. If you are new to padel, a softer beginner racket from our range will be easier to start with.
How much does it weigh and what shape is it?
The supplier describes it as a lightweight racket. We do not publish an exact weight or shape figure because we could not confirm one; if this matters to you, email help@padelviro.com before ordering and we will check with our supplier.
Will it be hard on my arm?
A stiffer carbon face transmits more of the impact than a soft fibreglass one. Warm up properly and build up your playing time. If you have elbow pain, consult a professional before changing racket.
Does it come with a cover?
A cover is not listed for this racket. You receive the racket with its wrist strap; keep it out of direct heat and away from damp, and wipe the face after playing.
How long will delivery take?
Every order is dispatched within 24 hours on working days. Standard Royal Mail delivery is free and takes 7–9 working days, with tracking. Need it sooner? Choose Priority delivery (5–7 working days) for £2.90 at checkout.
What if it's not right for me?
You have 30 days after delivery to return it unused and in its original packaging. A racket must not have been played on court (no marks, protective film and labels still on). Email help@padelviro.com with your order number and we'll guide you through the return. Faulty items are always covered.
